Class & Workshop Cancellation and Refund Policy

Class Guidelines:

York Art Association has a minimum enrollment size of six people and a maximum of 15 people for any class unless otherwise noted in the class schedule. If less than six people have enrolled, the class will be canceled and students have the option of receiving a refund or switching to another class. Classes will not appear in the website Calendar unless the enrollment minimum has been met.

NO refunds are given after a class begins unless approved by York Art Association’s Executive Committee. If you withdraw after attending one session of a class, however, you can receive a class credit. Because York Art Association’s fixed costs continue to increase, we can no longer pro-rate classes you do not or cannot attend.

In case of inclement weather, York Art Association will be closed when York Suburban School District is closed. Other circumstances may also require us to close. Classes scheduled on days York Art Association is closed will be rescheduled. Please call us at 717-755-0028 to confirm your class. Please click HERE for the complete Facility Closing Policy.


Class Registration

Classes fill up fast, so register early. A $20.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is required two weeks prior to the start of the class or workshop to reserve your space. Payment in full is required no later than the first day of any class or workshop. York Art Association does maintain a waiting list, so if you cannot get into the current class, you will be placed on a waiting list.

You can register by calling York Art Association at 717-755-0028 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by downloading, completing, and mailing the appropriate registration form(s) to York Art Association, Inc., 220 South Marshall St., York, PA 17402.

York Art Association accepts cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. There is a $25 fee for each returned check.
