We are proud to announce our gallery calendar of exhibitions for the beginning of 2025.
The year starts off with Poetic Creations January 9 through March 2. We will be exploring how artists can merge a poetic verse and a work of visual art. If you’re not a fan of poetry, use this as an opportunity to acquaint yourself with this form of artistic literature and perhaps expose another well of inspiration for your creativity. Song lyrics, Biblical Psalms, classic poetry, or your OWN written poem are potential sources. Not sure where to begin your search for poetry? Try an online search for: Haiku, Sonnet, Odes, Limerick, Hafiz, Maya Angelou, Robert Frost, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickenson, Elizabeth Browning, Old Testament Psalms.

Our Spring Members' Exhibition is being held earlier in 2025, from March 9 through April 20. Along with our prizes for professional and nonprofessional artists, there will be special awards for the best watercolor and the best mixed media work.

Next in the lineup April 27 to June 1 is a very special invitational exhibition. A Fond Farewell will feature several works by YAA’s longest members that they created over the span of their tenure as artists. This is our way of honoring their support and loyalty to the York Art Association! You won’t want to miss a fabulous exhibition!
At this time, we are announcing only our partial calendar for the year 2025. As we embark on our exciting move to a new location, we plan to announce additions to our 2025 schedule. While the current calendar offers a glimpse into the artistic wonders that await, we are eagerly preparing to unveil additional exhibitions and events that highlight this exciting time in our association.
