Opening Reception for Annual Spring Members' Exhibition

Our annual Spring Members' Exhibition is set to run March 9 through April 20 and will celebrate our YAA members' diverse talents, featuring a variety of artworks across genres and mediums in an un-themed showcase. We'll award $1,900 in cash prizes at the opening reception on March 9th.

OPENING RECEPTION

The public is invited to an opening reception for our Early Spring Member’s Exhibition Sunday, March 9 from 2-4 pm. Come view works of art from our members who use a wide variety of materials in an open-themed display. The reception is free and open to the public and includes light refreshments. Awards are presented at 2:30 pm.

Third: $150 (1st, 2nd, 3rd place awarded for both Professional and Non-Professional distinctions)

MEET OUR JUDGE: RICHARD RESSEL

Richard Ressel is a speaker, teacher, judge, and artist who has exhibited and received recognition for both ceramics and paintings in regional, national, and international exhibitions. He has also been featured in national and international publications, including: Best of Watercolor Painting Light and Shadow, Best of Watercolor Painting Texture, The Very Best of Watercolor, Dover Publishers; Splash 18 The Best of Watercolor; and Splash 23 The Best of Watercolor, presented by Artists Network and Watercolor Artist magazine.

He is a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, and Philadelphia Watercolor Society, a Fellow Maxima Cum Laude Member of the American Artist Professional League (New York, NY), and a member of Echo Valley Art Group (Lancaster, PA).
